I played my share of fighting games over the years. From Primal Rage to Street Fighter; from Super Smash Bros to Clay fighters; from Mortal Kombat to TMNT Tournament Fighter; from Tekken to Virtual Fighter & from Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded to Soul Caliber. All are great in their own aspects, but only one has took the trophy for the perfect fighter.











I remember first playing Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded for regular Xbox. I feel that it was the best version out of all the Guilty Gear series. The characters are super original, the moves are super original and the game play is classic. The only fighter to come close to the sheer fun of Guilty Gear X2 was Super Smash Bro Melee.









My buddies and I use to play it for hours and hours together so that we could unlock the bonus characters. The story was entertaining and very difficult to figure out. The way you progress through the story was to either win or lose against certain character so that you could open up and new path and get a different ending.



The animations and 2D graphics are amazing and beautiful. All of the character have different moves and were never recycled. The characters even had special forms, such as EX & SP that gave the character increased speed and power + New Moves. It was fucking badass!!!!!






Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded will always have a piece of my heart for refreshing the stagnant fighting genre. I cannot wait for another 2D Guilty Gear fighting game.
