Give thanks to Snaileb. Here are some pic of Mr. Dtiod I modeled up in Solidworks. It took 15 min. I will finish it later.

I know BZ is better, but here is a better update with lighting.

I miss solid works and other 3d programs... stupid AutoCAD.

Yea, I had to model it during lunch so I had to rush. I will make one in 3D Max so I can add better lighting a textures. Solidworks is meant for engineering lol.

it's a start... for one thing you got too many shadows, try turning off the shadows on one of the spots or moving it around. the shaders need a little work, try to make the eyes glass, anisotropic shading on the metal and the green more plasticky by bumping up the specular. obviously I am more critical of lighting/rendering...

I based mine off hi-res source images instead of the banner logo too, I think your proportions are a little off, esp. the mouth holes

I will try it on 3DMax later on at home, it will make better use of lighting and textures. Solidworks is mainly used for engineering of parts, assemblies & drawings. lol
