Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
So it would be possible to use it as an monitor but you´d first have to crack open your laptop and disconnect the display from the laptop itself.
Though I think I´ve seen something that made it possible to get the video of the ps3 to your pc via wifi or lan but Im not quite sure about that.
I think fanatic is right. You need video input to make it work, which few graphics cards have, and probably no laptop ones.
Thanks guys.
But this is fucked up bro. I finally have time to play some games tonight and now this happens. Damn!
lol Jimbo, your drunk button mashing is very lucky, I will return soon...
WHAT?? I haven't got a clue 'bout what I just said.

Yeah, it sucks. I might just go get a cheap tv. Next time I will get an extended warrenty.
SDTV's are dirt fucking cheap these days, and they can last AGES, I got one in my bedroom I use if the downstairs one is busy to game on, it's 13 years old and still works like a dream. HDTV's are cool, but SDTV's have the build quality to outlast them. Well mine has anyway.
Thanks, I will start looking at prices, if the Sony will cost too much to fix.
