360 Has The Greatest Line Up In Console History!
JACK of No Trades | 12:13 PM on 10.04.2007 26 comments

Halo has already sold 300 million in ONE week. I wonder if anything will beat that? The 360 has the greatest lineup in videogame history! Just in a few months there are blockbuster games such as Bioshock, Halo3, Mass Effect & PGR4. I dare you to name a better line up in console history.

The Wii has Mario Galaxy & SSBB coming out in the same month, but I don’t think the sells of those will match any of the 360’s.

Are you we todd did?

300 million? There aren't even 300 current-gen consoles out in the wild! And weren't the latest showings of Mass Effect, less than glamorous?

PS: Mario Galaxy comes out in November, Smash in December. Xbot, go home and don't come back.

That being said, in history? No. With people's differing opinions on what they like and not, not all of the games you listed are going to be "the duke of new york, a #1" for everyone. Besides, teh SNES had good lineups back in the day.

$300 million maybe?

Also here's the list of Wii games I wish I could buy this xmas season: Zack and Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, Battalion Wars 2, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Ghost Squad, Trauma Center: New Blood, Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. Brawl. Quite a few good games, eh?

I believe thats only the game itself. It earned 300 million by itself.

I also have to ask, jack, I've been wondering for some time. because I have never met anyone like you in real life, I have trouble believing you really exist. I think you are somebody pulling a joke on us, who found some pictures on a flicker stream and decided to harass us with stupid on a daily basis.

Yea if you aren't interested in FPS then 50 percent of your lineup is gone there. I'd hope the greatest line up of games had a little more variety in it, including casual games, platgformers, a kick ass puzzle game and an RPG that wasn't constantly being reported to be full of dissapointment. Not that that isn't a great line up of games, I do want them all.

They got SCENE IT and....and......ummm, little XBLA games you can download and play elsewhere, and don't forget the new RPGs that are like 3rd person action shooters!

At least they aren't first person, right?

INCORRECT. The SNES has the greatest lineup in history. And Cowzilla makes an excellent point where pretty much every game coming out is an FPS. There is little variety. I have a 360 and enjoy it, but the current lineup is far from the "best lineup ever".

Funny, because I associate the 360 with a different line-up.

I even like the console, but I couldn't resist.

JACK and GayBear22 are the same person. And I didn't even have to Matlock that one. It's just obvious.

i think Jack's clogging the tubes since his 360 might have been a victim of RRoD, the greatest game in the greatest line up in console history.

Just to clarify, Halo 3 did sell $300 million in one week. That's just the game itself, not including consoles and peripherals.

Incidentally, though, I am stoked for the 360 lineup.
