Yes it is that hard.
Take all the puzzle games off. That's not a valid difficulty arguement. By that logic, Tetris should be on there since it's an endless game on the DS and cannot be beaten.
GnG isn't there, Gradius isn't there, ikari warriors, Contra.
If the list isn't complete, why did you say 25 and then list 25 games?
Did think about that. Just numbered them. It looked better.
Super Mario "The Lost Levels" is definitely a fine choice, and why the hell is Contra not on there?!

2. Battletoads
3. Ghost and Goblins
4. Castlevania (Fucking Frankenstein)
5. Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest (I never even fucking understood that game when I was a kid)
6. Silver Surfer (Which is hard for the sake of being hard)
7. Ikaruga
8. Contra
9. Ninja Gaiden
10. Devil May Cry 3
etc... The point is no Battletoads, no Ghosts and Goblins and no Castlevanias = fail
