Not my Turning Point gaming rig
Iolaus | 10:20 AM on 03.09.2008 4 comments

This is my gaming rig for the Turning Point competition.
Dell Xps M170 Laptop:
2.26 Intel Centrino CPU
2GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX
80GB HDD

My 32" AOC HD TV with 2.1 LG Speakers.

And last but no means least; my Nintendo Wii.

My Laptop's good for most games but it's not great for the more demanding games. And i need more storage. But alas; I have no money; I'm a student.

Prison Break poster = Fail
Super Mario Galaxy poster = Win
No Xbox 360 = Fail
Nintendo Wii = Win
Silver 2.1 & Black 32" TV = Fail
Black & Silver Laptop = Win (Oddly...if you ignore the fact that it's Dell)

Your Score: 55/100

Could be better with an extra console or two, but being a student with a 32" TV is quite an achievement...which you could be getting more of with a 360...

Prison Break poster = Win in my book.
No Xbox 360?
Beleive me buddy, if I had the money...BAM! It'd be here. I want one....I long for one. I do not have the money. i can barely feed myself atm (true story).
The speakers were £10 from ebay so I was going for the whole "ZOMG thats cheap!" rather than the "I need the stylz" look.

Same goes for the Dell, I got it from a small time company with links to Dell. Providing me with a half price gaming laptop.

Thank you for your evaluation. =)

Oh noes! What are you doing on the train tracks? You're not THAT kind of a student are you?

Why has your Dell pink leds? You know a Del is a slut in Dutch right?

Dude it took me so damn long to figure out what your train tracks comment was about... im ashamed.

My Dell had red lights on at that point but my amazing camera phone decided they should be pink.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
