Team Fortress 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4 until I finished it, although I still play it every day.
You know whats sad? Being so addicted to COD4 online play that I cant finish MGS4 already... sigh... when will it stop!?
By the way... Mech Assult 2.... epic.
I'm pretty much addicted to RPGS, that is if the RPG I'm playing at the time has an epic story. Also, even though I just beat MGS 4, I can't help but pick it up and play it all over again.
Agreed Mechassault 2 is amazing, people who bash it just didn't understand it.
I got addicted to Sim City 3000. Everyday for nearly 2 years. Just couldn't stop tweaking at watching my cities grow. It really drew me in, in a way Sim CIty 2000 and Sim CIty 4 didn't. It was the perfect balance between the two.
I never understood Sim city, maybe I was too young
Spent about 97 hours on my first playthrough of Wild ARMs 5. Girlfriend got irritated. I spend probably around 50-60 hours a week gaming. Im a general addict.
I've logged upwards of 60 days onto one character in World of Warcraft. I wouldn't say I'm addicted... maybe I was. But not anymore :)
When I was a kid Dragon Warrior on the NES. I completely maxed out my level in that, I was kinda bummed when I couldn't progress any farther. I had a strange compulsion to play The Sims as well, I had to max out all the characters in my household's stats. Recently it was Puzzle Quest, I played that constantly for a month until I had every rune collected, every city sieged, and every mount trained.
The entire PC Fallout series (screw the crap ass xbox one) is what got me good. I also was obsessed with Bioshock for a bit, until i beat it twice. Diablo 2 was one of those sick addictions, as i could sit there and magic find for hours on end, not even enjoying myself but i would still continue.
There are a bunch of games I've played huge consecutive chuncks of, but not gotten addicted to; one such would be Fable, something like 20 or so hours straight (it's possibly if you take your time and try to get everything).
Jeez getting everything in Fable only takes 20 hours? Pft. That's supposed to be Xbox's big killer RPG. *sigh*
Good thing Xbox 360 has made up for that with Jap and American rpgs.
