I used to go to Otakon a lot back in High School - it was pretty fun, but it got MASSIVE over the years.

I went the past two years, but this year I'm just gonna sit out, my heart's not in it and a lot of bad shit went down last year that really soiled my perception of the con. That and I've been having a lot more fun in the smaller, more local cons to me like Nekocon and such. Though I have to say, Katsucon was really fun this year, if not simply for the MASSIVE amounts of snow present. And the fact that the hotel was called The Gaylord.
