Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Dear Amazon.com Customer,
As someone who has bought a defunct product such as an HD DVD player we would like to offer you these HD DVD movies that we are liquidating for 50% off. Hurry now because as soon as they're gone so is our support for them and the format.
In closing would you like some information on our exciting Blu Ray products??
You guys are looking for any cracks to point at and laugh, jeez. Grow up. Amazon's having a sale. They've done it before. They're going to do it again for both formats. Not two weeks ago they were having a 50% off sale for BR Warner titles. They had WB AND SONY on sale about 4 weeks ago at 50% off. Sales in general are down right now, sales make money. They're not taking a loss on selling those at that price. Retailers do not media sell at a loss.
I don't give a shit if HD-DVD is losing, I win because of the cheap sales.
Thanks!
