Yeah I missed a couple of weeks because of Pax and then the Pax Hangover. Anyhoo here are the Blu-Ray releases for the last few weeks.
September 09, 2008
* Baby Mama (Universal)
* Blu-ray Zombie Bundle (Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn0 (Anchor Bay) -
Hmmmm I'd like to get this on the cheap.
* Cool Hand Luke (Warner) -
Never seen this to be honest. Perhaps I'll check it out
* Day Watch (Fox) -
This and Night Watch are apparently pretty cool
* The Fall (2006) (Sony)
* The Forbidden Kingdom (Lionsgate)
* Grey's Anatomy: The Complete Fourth Season - Expanded (Walt Disney)
Some of the most abysmal shit on TV
* How the West Was Won (Warner)
* Jerry Maguire (Sony)
* Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (Buena Vista)
* Kill Bill: Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 (Walt Disney)
100% must buy
* Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (Buena Vista)
* Masters of Horror Bundle: Season One (Anchor Bay)
* Night Watch (Fox)
See Day Watch
* Rudy (Sony)
* Smallville: The Complete Seventh Season (Warner)

WRONG! Not buying a Superman movie where supes doesn't even throw a punch.

* Marine Aquarium (BCI)
* Married Life (Sony)
* Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow (Lionsgate)
* Outbreak (Warner)
* Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles (FUNimation)
I don't know what to do here. I was a HUGE Robotech fan growing up. Now I consider myself more of a Macross fan than a Robotech fan so this feels tainted. I don't know I'll probably cave and buy it.
* Transformers (2007) (Paramount)
I love and hate this movie. Could we get an edit with no humans?
* Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (Warner)
August 26, 2008
* Action Starter Pack (Universal)
* The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) (Warner)
* Afro Samurai: Season One (Director's Cut) (FUNimation)
I've seen some of the action scenes from this. I guess it would be pretty cool to have on blu-ray.
* Blue Man Group: How to Be a Megastar Live! (Rhino)
* Dude, Where's My Car? (MGM)
* End of Days (Universal)
COMEDY GOLD!
* Heroes: Season One (Universal)

Did anyone see this? I heard it was actually pretty cool.
* U-571 (Universal)
* What Happens in Vegas (Fox)
August 19, 2008
* Camp Rock (Walt Disney)
* Hannah Montana And Miley Cyrus: Best Of Both Worlds Concert Tour (Walt Disney)
Man I can't wait to see her melt down in a few years.
* Justice League: Season One (Warner)
* The Life Before Her Eyes (Magnolia)
* Nixon: Director's Cut (Buena Vista)
* Prom Night (2008) (Sony)
* The Proposition (First Look)
* The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (Universal)
* Street Kings (Fox)
* Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Season 1 (Warner)
*sighs*. I love the first two Terminator movies so much. How could they do this to the franchise.

I picked up Transformers first day, even though it is a love/hate relationship its still not bad and seeing robots in all their HD glory is great.

I got Transformers the first day too. I know how you feel.
I think "Shoot 'em up" is on sale this week for cheap at Circuit City. Highly recommended.
And those with bru-ray players and hi-def sets should check out "How the West was Won". Average story, but phenomenal looking. The colors and depth of field are amazing.

Cool Hand Luke is classic, well worth watching but.. not for everyone. Day Watch is mostly a cool looking and more confusing version of Night Watch.
No love for Clint and his ape in Every Which Way But Loose?
And yes, Redbelt was lame.
