A little late, I know, but I have only just joined.
People are idiots this time of year, let me tell you. Black Friday is one of the worst days I have ever experienced. My dad and I saw an advertisement for 20 inch flat screen TVs for only $50 at Wal-mart and we went at 4 in the morning to get one. HOLY CRAP. The line from the door was at LEAST a half a mile back. When they finally let us inside, everyone rushed for the TVs. i screamed "THIS ONES MINE!" as a lady sat on it and she said "NO ITS NOT" and i said "YES IT IS" and i grabbed the handles of the box and ripped it out from under her dumb ass. while we put this one in the cart, I saw another one in an idle cart. I went to take it, and these random black people came out of nowhere screaming "COME ON MAN THATS MAH SHIT! THATS MAH SHIT!" I said "No, it's mine." and began to take it. my dad just said "Curtis (my name), let them have it" and we left. My right arm was numb and I was shaking for about an hour afterwards just from the stress and mass chaos. STAY AT HOME ON BLACK FRIDAY.
Just as we were driving away, a police car with its sirens raging came speeding towards Wal-mart. Someone probably got trampled.
People are idiots, I tell you, idiots.
The moral of the story? I stood in line for an hour and a half, beat some lady down, and about had a heart attack just so I can play my damn Wii in ED.
You win, Nintendo, you win.
It's what separates us from them.
believe me, i'm not one of them, never again will you see me out there on black friday. I will be at home, warm in my bed.
Gamewise, anyway.
But let's talk about the black friday thing
Anyway, I have learned all too well not to go out on Black Friday. I went out once, and the crowds scared me way too much to want to go out ever again.
Black Friday? Whack Friday. Much like you, I'd rather sit at home, playing the stuff I already own while laughing at all the poor souls who can actually want to shove through crazed, zombified shoppers just to get a discount on their stereo.
