Duke Nukem Forever is never going to be released, period. 3D Realms just likes to keep acting like it'll come out because it gives them some media attention.

I believe it's going to come out soon, and by soon I mean within the year.
And I'm excited.
And also, the media goes to 3d realms. When is the last time you saw a big advertisment for a 3d realms game?
The media is so interested in DNF they can't resist but start a storm whenever someone says one word about the game, it's a love to hate it type thing.
Plus the actually DNF forum, only has close to 100 something members.

also, hell just froze over.
Even if it were to ever be released... who cares? I think we've all kind of graduated from the type of game that Duke Nukem is. Gone are the days of bizarre FPS's with even stranger weapons and stories. We're playing Call of Duty 4 and Half Life 2 these days and don't care much for Pigs in cutoffs and Tigers with crotchless panties and vests anymore.
