Jesus tap dancing christ Rock Band 2 sure did sneak up on me. Now the set list doesn't impress me as much as the first ones but man there are some amazing songs in there. So without further ado I present to you:

Of course this is is purely based off of my taste. I'm also looking forward to songs like Chop Suey, Give it Away, and The Trees. Overall the set list is looking pretty nice. Let see in the first Rock Band I have to say my favorite song on the disc would have to be Reptilia. Also on an awesome note to me Metallica's Enter Sandman will not be able to be transferred to Rock Band 2 :D Do you realize how annoying it is when everyone on Xbox Live always wants to play Enter Sandman? I like that song but when a bunch of random groups pick that 75% of the time it makes me not want to play.

Anyway who is picking up Rock Band 2? Are you getting the disc or the whole box? I'm personally probably going to just buy the disc. The problem is I want those darn Ion Drums and I would really like a new wireless guitar. If I bought the whole box and the drum it would be about $500 O_O Then again I could look at it like I' am buying a new end table also since my first Rock Band box currently keeps my 360 and all my handhelds off the carpet ^_^

Im gonna get rock band 2 when it comes to nz sometime in the next two years (maybe...) !

However i dont mind because the Foo Fighters' The Colour and the Shape is what i really want. Everlong being my favourite song ever and the others being awesome too. Love Harmonix for making the dlc compatible with both still.

Also, FYI there isn't currently a "Special Edition" of RB2 for sale. HMX has said that there will be the individual RB2 guitar and drums for sale on release day.

I played Anyway You Want It. It was good. Sucks that the new instruments won't be out until the PS3 release, though, meaning I'll end up waiting.

I've never hear Float On like that, which the volume changes.

When I play that song for real, I always just play the chords part, while someone else/the stereo will play the other parts, I never bothered to learn the other parts.
