Who do this fuckers think they are? I stopped reading after this oversight... Enjoy your new laptop batteries.
Its funny how easily people fall into the stereotype that people who are good with computers are bssement dwelling virgins. They said the same thing about us gamers too once.
"basement dwelling virgins" - I like that! LOL!
The ironic thing is that by attacking a largely innocent user base, hackers have lost support among the general public - who will be much more willing to vote for restrictive legislation that might prevent hacking. In the end, they're damaging themselves.

@Elsa: But do the hackers care about support or legislation? I mean we're talking about people who knocked down a network of 70 Million users to steal downloadable content and out of date credit card information. How much do seriously you think they care about other people?
It wasn't bothering me at first since there were more hockey playoff games being played but now I need my gaming fix. Plus after trying to force myself through some single player games I've remembered that I'm definitely much more of an online player....
@falsenipple... if legislation gets passed that allows ISP's to give up IP addresses much easier, we lose much of our "anonymity" on the web. Most hackers likely use the abundant free wireless available nowadays so it's not tracked back to their ISP, but many gaming networks don't allow "modded" consoles/PC's on them and who's to say that eventually they might bring in legislation that PC's with certain types of software might eventually be blocked by all North American ISP's. Possibly new laws could be introduced making hacking even more of a criminal offence (rather than a civil case which it's mostly been up to this point) with more severe penalties. I don't know... I just think that people will be more willing to support anti-hacking legislation and in the end, it will make hacking a lot harder with a lot more to lose.
