The first night of competition ran in to a few kinks, which I've since remedied. Certainly a trial by fire. But, we've got my network situation fixed. Sorry, Yojimbo. We can do some Ryu make-up matches anytime you're game. Casual Weaponry came out the big winner for the night. Nilcam put in a great showing for someone not playing as their main character. And a New Challenger has entered the tournament! Genki-Jam jumped in a bit after I left for work last night. So, I can't wait to get my gloves on against him. I want to add that it's never too late to join up in the contest. Because the win ratio is every bit as important as your total wins, you could jump in and rock it out tonight and be in just as good of a position to win yourself a copy of Street Fighter IV. Which presents both a new question and an answer. "Why would I want to fight more than 4 times, if it doesn't matter all that much anyways?" Well, I'm glad you asked, invisible man. The answer is the new prize which will be awarded to the person who competes the most throughout the contest. That person is going to come away with one of these:
An official Street Fighter Fight Night ti-shirt! I really want one of these myself, instead I'm ponying up the cash to give to it one of you! Finally there are a couple of changes to the rules. First, the rule stating that every competitor needs to have at least one community blog under their belt is erased. Being a member of and contributing to the community doesn't have to mean being a blogger. So, that's been relaxed. A person just need be a member now. Also, after the first ten matches as the day's theme character, instead of an extra 5 matches as either Ken or Ryu, I now have something else in mind. You can pick whomever you want in these bonus matches. Go with whomever you're best at. Whichever character that you think is going to net you 5 extra wins, go with it! Which brings me to a final prize for this contest. Last night, every single match that I fought was an honorable one. There was no spamming. There was no single fireball trap repeated ad nauseum. They were all of the sort of match that I enjoy playing against people. THIS IS NOT THAT CONTEST! I want more dirty fighting! So, the competitor that I deem the cheapest will also receive a prize. I can say that it won't be much (this contest is already running up a whole month's worth of disposable income). But it will be there for you to earn. For all of you future red-ring victims with the horrible d-pads (I'm not making fun, for I am one of you!), there is hope. I'm currently working out a way for you to also join in the fun. Expect an announcement in the next couple of days. If you haven't jumped in just yet, my PSN ID is haxan. My xbox live gamertag is haxan1 if you want to get a jump in on that. The rules can be found at the original cblog post. Good luck! To quote L'il Kim in the greatest worst movie ever made: we're going to take this fight "straight street"! Updated official rules can be found here.

i'm adding your GT early...JUST IN CASE. cause if I can win, that'd save me 60 bucks and 60 extra bucks for the 150 tournament edition SFIV sticks.
My motto is "Nothing can be done that can't be overdone."
You aint seen nothing, though. Every October I throw a dusk till dawn horror movie marathon (literally from 6pm-8am). I have to take a week off of work every year just to prepare for it. In between every movie I edit together horror movie trailers, vintage intermission footage, famous movie moments stills, film trivia. All of the stuff that you see in a movie theater but with my little spin on it. I have a tendency to go all out on stuff.
And I had a blast! Even though I already have SFIV waiting for pickup, I really enjoy playing with the community.
I plan on picking up a 360 stick this week, so I can play with those guys too.
And no matter the skill level, everyone should come out and play! It's not about winning, but having fun too!

Awesome art is: AWESOME! Seriously
I realize thats a bit too many what-if's, but this is pretty awesome.
I went ahead and added you.
What do you guys think, because I'm conflicted. Do you let a guy you posts this on your c-blog into your contest? "Hide this gay blog now. Mega Man 9 is the fucking best game ever and you're gay."
Because I'm thinking I should. Vote it up.
Oh, and don't worry, I'll be a cheap little bitch for you, too :D
Oh, and my vote is FUCK SANTANACLAUSE89. That's some serious BS for the dude to troll you in one blog and then jump up at a chance to get free shit from you in the next.
Alright, dude. You're in. No more trolling. See you on the battlefield.
