I'm kinda looking around for a new MMO to play, but everything I find kind of sucks. I've tried just about everything (even second life **shudders**) and I'm not sure what to try next. I don't ask much from the DToid community, but hey - What MMO do you play?
MMOs I've tried:

WoW(quit last month, sold my account for 130 dollars)

Second Life (played it for about 5 minutes and then uninstalled it)

Hellgate London(That game just lacked SOMETHING, can't put my finger on what)

Knight Online (yuck)

Runescape (Pitiful....)

Guild Wars (Didn't like the feel of the deathmatches, it was kind of impossible for a newb)

Hero Online (Almost as bad as Knight Online)
I'm thinking about Ragnarok Online. Any opinions on that?
if your computer can run it.
Playing through the campaign is surprisingly fun and will train you quite a bit.
If you like grindfests and pointless avatars then try out maple story
I think it really adds something to the game when you're around other people. It becomes a social environment.
Fun game, played it for a while.
SilkRoadOnline is kinda nice.
Haha, ok I don't know. Good luck.
I guess it helps when you play with 3 others you know in real life.
If you liked any FF game then its a step in to the no RL world of FF11.
Space Cowboy Online is crazy awesome, but it's not so much an MMORPG as it is a Star Fox MMO (It's not really that similar to Star Fox, that's just the closest thing I can think of to it).
Right now I'm trying out an MMORPG called Trickster Online. I like it so far.
My catgirl lasted twenty minutes. That's as long as it took to have one battle and regenerate my health. C'est la vie.
I just got an email about this one opening beta. Looks about on par for your average Korean crapfest, but who knows? Might be a diamond in the rough.
I played it for... I dunno almost a year or so on a private server. It's grindy and a bit buggy, like any Korean game, but I love the old sprite graphics, nice soundtrack, and the class variety is fun.
