whoaaa. And I LOVE OoT.
that is very nice, I would love a high def OoT as long as teh gameplay didn't change at all, cuz that game has a special place in my heart
Wow awesome! Too bad Nintendo hates HD. This type of update for their older games would be amazing.
I'd welcome this so much. And the music on this website just reminded me how awesome OoT soundtrack was
HOLY SHIT.
This needs to become real. Now.
Damn, I want to download that and somehow update my ROM. Both the HD and Cel Shaded versions were interesting to see.
Now I'd like to play the game that way.
Oh, this is a real hack.

Currently looking, but it's been taken down from a lot of sites. Will post when I find it.
I dunno... It looked kinda weird with the crisp textures and the edgy enviroments. If Nintendo ever remake OoT (wich I hope they never waste time on doing), then they should remake the meshes for the models as well as update the textures.
OK, that's pretty fucking cool
You can download the texture pack and play it with an emulator. I recommend the Cel shaded pack though, It looks much better than this one. Almost makes OoT look like Wind Waker.
I've tried playing OOT with the HD textures. I found it to be more distracting than anything else. They weren't made with any kind of thought towards color palettes and tone. It was definitely more detailed and sharper, but everything was duller and nothing really meshed too well. And certain things just looked crappy, most notably the hollowed log tunnel to get the Hyrule Field from the Kokiri Forest looked terrible.
Certainly the idea is neat. But it wasn't executed all that well.
Wowzers...
bet the Water Temple still sucks ass though.
I liked this article up until the point where you said you didn't like Zelda II. =(
You forgot to mention that you can left-click in the flash thing and get a different set of textures that make it look like Wind Waker.
lets hope nintendo picks up on this and does it better :-D
Very cool. That looked better than a lot of stuff I've seen for the Wii. The music sure brought back some memories. It makes me sad to realize I'm not part of Nintendo's core customers any more...just sad.
@ RJS I didn't know about the cel shaded textures! Gunna check that out now :D
And Zelda II was ok, I just didn't care for the change in gameplay. If it didn't have the Zelda trademark then I wouldn't have any problems with it.
