This is why I play Gears of War. There are no glitches in that game. Yup... no glitches at all.
None whatsoever.
None whatsoever.
I don't know if you noticed but the bomb never got onto the bomb pad. It was armed, but did not sit on the pad like it was supposed to. This is probably because of P22 dieing during the process of arming the bomb
@bunnyrabbit2
That's what I thought too, but that shouldn't be the case. If you die while arming the bomb it certainly shouldn't arm anyway and give the point to the other team after you successfully defend it. None of us (besides P22) had any idea that the bomb wasn't on the pad, we just defended it from afar.

That's a really weird glitch, I've never seen it before. Try sending it to Bungie or posting it on the forums but it will take luck for them to actually see it.
I actually haven't forwarded it to Bungie in any capacity. I'm not really sure what the best way of going about that would be.
Public awareness will get them to notice it. This video is a start. This bug seems really rare, though. I've never seen that happen. If it was more well-known it'd be fixed really fast.
Okay, posted it over at b.net: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=17507078&viewreplies=true
Actually, I'm going to say that the real glitch isn't the incorrect giving of points, here. There's something even more messed up with the bomb arming.
In Halo 3, a person need only walk over the arming circle and the bomb will attach itself to the center of the circle and begin counting down. Here, the bomb never touched the center of the circle and only armed as it was being hurled OVER the circle -- and it didn't stay, it kept rolling. It shouldn't have been an arm, period.
But the scoring glitch IS weird. Incidentally, that's the first time I've seen either of those glitches, myself. If you really want to, you should get on Bungie.net and message Frankie or Sketch. If it really is a problem, they'll probably look into it. Especially if you link to this.

GREAT VIDEO! i'm glad you did it this well instead of just randomly e-mailing them & complaining about a random point lost. This is serious business. Hope it works out for all of our sakes
awesome video - to watch, not experience. credits brought lulz. sux to be you. Bungie, apparently, is not God.
