Today I naively thought that I'd be able to find a copy of Madworld at Target. I know that the game shipped to stores yesterday and should arrive in stores tomorrow, but I'm just too damn excited for the game to wait. So anyway, I arrive at the store, and to my (not) surprise, the game had not arrived yet. Seeing how I just drove about 15 minutes to get to the store, I figured I might as well look around some more and see if anything could catch my eye.
Now, I don't know if this applies to all Target stores nationwide, but it is something to consider the next time you visit one. The store in my area was having an inventory clearance sale, and had a bunch of items marked down to unbelievable prices. Most of the stuff for sale was pure shit that I wouldn't even want for free, but I saw two things over in the DS/GBA area.
In case you can't make out that price, that says $9.98. Not bad for a game that got Dtoid's
editor's choice badge. But wait, there's more...
That's right. A sealed copy of Drill Dozer for only
$2.48. No, I don't know why nobody bought it yet. Shit costs less than a fast food meal, and it'll defiantly give you more satisfaction (although it might not stay with you as long).
Again, I don't know if this applies to all stores, but there's no harm in checking it out, right? The worst that could happen is you leave empty handed, or you could leave with a very unappreciated GBA game.
