I am Destructoid's Community Manager and General to the Destructoid Army. We are made of many factions but we are all one force that embodies the robot. It is the Lieutenants, Majors and the the countless soldiers that keeps the dream alive. We bleed red and green.
I am always available for you:

I am also an Associate Editor and it's my goal to always provide you guys with some sort of entertainment. I love covering anything that has to do with art, entertaining videos, fashion, boobs -- Basically anything that's offbeat.
I am a shark. I am Tako King. I am CTZ. I am a drill. I am your Community Manager. I am Hamza Aziz. Four years and counting.
Also, fix the damn blog saving. With all due respect it's wicked retarded that I can't save a blog and post it when I want to without it disappearing into cyberspace.
Otherwise this site is everything I could want and more.
Sharks , Colette and RetroforceGo!
yeah it doesn't have anything to do with what you asked for but that's what I want Destructoid to do better for me.
DO EET!
Maybe a little tweaks in the friend's update section would be nice , sometimes it doesn't want to show friends we are following. BeverlyNoelle blog's being one of them. Took me months also to have a Genki friend update.
also , how's Frisko?
Other than that, ratchet up the awesomeness to the XTREEEEEEEEEEEEME!!!1111
2. Get rid of the hideous backdrop advertisements that ruin the site's design.
3. Bring back the Community Leaderboards, it was fun seeing where everyone stands with number of comments, and blog posts. There was also a bit of a competitive thing about it too...
4. If I had an iPhone or iPod touch, I would really want a dedicated Dtoid app.
That's all I can think of right now.
RFGO most likely isn't coming back, you know that as well as anyone.
2. More Youtube videos? I'd like to share your awesomeness with more people, and linking to Youtube is the easiest way.
And 'edit comment' button would sound great at first but it could also destroy every single comment replying to that one edited comment. I don't really like that. Just check what you've written, think about it for a while before you set your brainfarts loose on the community.
What would be great is what Xzyliac said (and many others before) about posting Blogs.
</rant about the what I miss from the old days>
Also more community participation would be cool, give the community a project to work on if they chose to (like the Art project for the third birthday).
Oh, and I'm with Xzyliac, make it so that we can save drafted blogs, so that when we finally set them to go live, they go straight to the top of the Cblogs. Don't make it so that we can time it, because then people would constantly be changing the time of their own Cblogs, so they could keep them at the top of the list.
Oh, and I thought of another thing. :) When the new comment system comes out, I would LOVE it so that you could reply to people's comments, and the original commenter would get a notification about the reply. It's so easy to forget about comments you made, and it would make it easier to carry out conversations in comments. :)
Also, I MISS COLETTE! She was one of my favourite videogame bloggers ever. :( And a lot more posts from Chad. And Stella, she did the BIT.TRIP VOID review, she should do more.
Gaming online with other Dtoid members is a real bonding experience... both with each other and to the site itself. I would love to see the Friday Night Fights expanding beyond Friday nights. It would be great if the Meet up and Play section was changed to include a forum and a calendar. People could add a game to the calendar and a link to the forum thread discussing the details. This way I could simply pull up the calendar and see that on Thursday night several people are playing Burnout and several others plan on playing MAG - details on how to join the game would be available. The calendar should have a simple sort function by console (people would have to tag their calendar entries by console as well). More and more games are including online - I think this would be a forward thinking feature for the website.
Meh... however you do it, the Meet up and Play is just much too restrictive and doesn't really work all that well.
Forums:
In all honesty I find the forums intimidating as many of the threads are HUGE! Playing catch up is a impossibility. I honestly don't know how to make the forums more functional, but I think that having a little more freedom in creating new threads might make things easier. Maybe there needs to be more categories, but right now it seems that you have to hang out there for quite awhile to get the hang of how to use the forums.
Female-friendly:
I say this only based on feedback from others... but this site has a reputation of being a "guy's site". I don't personally find this to be the case, but then again, I play COD online with a mic, so apparently I have a pretty high tolerance level. Possibly a bit less use of half dressed women as article headers might be a thought, especially when the half dressed woman has little to do with the article content. I've referred this site to various friends, but some have outright said that the site seems "anti-female" and offensive (the "fap" voting system particularly seems to irritate some women). I'm certainly not advocating any major changes like a pink background or hearts and teddybears... but maybe a little restraint on the college humour of half nekked girls might be beneficial given the huge growth in female gamers (the largest upcoming gamer demographic). I almost hate to say this... but maybe more articles on casual games might also be helpful - not a lot of articles... but maybe a few.
Meh... I like the site as it is, but I'll pass along the feedback I've heard from others.
Oh, and as a final thought, I came across a thread on my old site (GAP) that complained that Destructoid is 360 biased... because if you click the PS3 articles link, almost every article for a cross platform game ends with a link for "More Xbox 360 stories". Silly... but for some people it seems to indicate either lazy programming that it doesn't read "More PS3 stories" or just a bias that 360 is the favored platform for the site (some people really are a bit fanboyish, but this does seem like an easy fix)
Again... a lot of this is feedback I've heard, not personal feedback, but possibly it's better to hear about why people won't join the site, rather than the feedback of those of us that currently love Destructoid! Myself, I love the site and would just like to see some kind of "meet up and play" system that is easier to use because I really do enjoy online gaming with Dtoid peoples! :)
(oh... and train of thought, one other thing that would be nice is a condensed view on our personal blog roll... especially for those of us that tend to write really long blogs!)
So, uh, more behind-the-scenes videos would be cool. Show us where the magic happens, and by magic, i mean rape.
2. Save drafted blogs like Xzyliac said.
3. Bring back the leaderboards!
"we killed the leaderboard concept for the moment until we can get a more unified stats thing going."

Copy/paste from the Uservoice page. So there you have it.
Also, promoting the Cblog Recaps to the front page.
Yes, I am a recapper, what of it?
Also also, and this might be a bit of a stretch, but I'd like to see another Monthly Musing topic go up every month, or something similar; basically another reason for people to discuss things as a community in the Cblogs.
And I agree with everything the gorgeous garison has said up to this point.
Number 2: More of the Dtoid videos on the Dtoid youtube page, it's easier for linking to friends.
Number 3: Blog drafts, I know that's the number one thing that's putting me off blogging for the first time. Have to copy pasta from Wordpad/MS Word, while only a minor inconvenience, is still off putting.
Nummer vier: What Devore said.
Also I agree with Elsa that more opportunities to play with other members of Destructoid would be great, the only chance I get to play with them is Friday Night Fights and I’ve never been able to take part in that because of the time difference, at 2am on a Friday night I’m not really in a position to play games.
While I can't do much about how huge the threads are, I will say that the two biggest (pictures and bar) only really require reading the last couple pages as they move fast (bar) or are mostly pictures (pictures)
As for freedom to start new threads, people are free to start whatever threads they like, provided they are..discussion topics. We just did a overhaul of the forum sections to make them more organized and upfront about what's in them.
As for learning to use the forums I have a posting guide to explain what the sections are about and what you can find there. Other then that, it's just simply posting and participating.
Hope that helps!
Failing that, access to Dtoid main from Dtoid mobile.
Besides that, I love Dtoid how it is, now matter how weird the layout gets sometimes.
Again, just providing some honest feedback. Unfortunately, no answers... but just trying to be honest in saying that they seem intimidating and a bit confusing, even for someone pretty comfortable with forums in general.
Meh... maybe it's just me!
