I'm actually glad its selling well. The concept seemed sound...but I was worried the platform would hinder it since its not really a game.

Yeah. That has definitely been one of my concerns. There's a lot going against it. Platform, price point, inability to get website coverage and so on.

Our current plan is to get this on the iPhone and other smart-phone things that can run apps like this.

Then a more feature-rich version that can also be released as PC software. (PC has tons of this stuff already, so we gotta come up with something unique for that platform)

I'm glad it's selling well, I was rather impressed when I reviewed it for Negative Gamer.

BUT. Just posting a press release as a Cblog on this site is an unforgivable sin. I'm happy for you, but my opinion of you has just collapsed completely.

Aww. But I can't get any sites to talk about it. I've emailed over 50 gaming sites and gaming news sites. None of them posted it.

So, I'm posting it everywhere I can on my own. It's the only way to get the news out there.

If you have any tips for contacting gaming sites so that they'll actually post press releases for things like this, I'd love to hear them.

I "played" the demo, and it's good. I may get it just for kicks. Can you send stuff to people who don't have the game?

You can email tips@whatever.com, but generally they won't post press releases of community games unless they have a huge hype surrounding them, or come directly from the PR agency itself, so they can further a relationship with that company.

@smurfee mcgee: not yet. File exporting or wma or mp3 encoding isn't a feature of the XNA framework. That's something Microsoft has to fix. It's high on our list of things to beg for. Right now your best bet is to connect your 360 to your PC. I have a RCA to 1/8" adapter for that.

@magnalon: Yeah. That's the roadblock I'm running in to with pretty much every site out there. :)

Just wanted to say that I got your software over the weekend and its awesome fun! I had bought the first EZMuze but as someone who has had experience with Acid, Vegas, Rebirth and Reason, I thought it was a bit primative and limited. The new one is far superior, giving more features without being too comlicated and I have sepnt many hours with it already. I hope you continue to release loops for it and Microsoft comes up with a way to output finished songs. Keep up the good work and you can count on me to support your product.
