Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch no Dokodon!

(LOL Play-Asia image)

or Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2?

I have been going through both of these games in the past few hours/days/???, and both of them are crazy addictive. I have practically no time to pick my pears in Animal Crossing...

Can someone help me decide which one shall win over all?

New holiday DS sales news: It prints money
GuitarFearow | 2:04 AM on 12.29.2007 1 comments

http://www.dsfanboy.com/2007/12/28/ds-overtakes-ps2-lifetime-sales-in-japan/
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221383

From this story, it would seem that according to sales data, the DS has moved more units in Japan during this holiday period (I'm guessing Nov. - Dec.) than the PS2 did during it's lifetime. Amazing.

I sense an upcoming war based on this data...

edit: Argh, already old, should have checked. Check that other guy's blog out.

So I got a (NOT) R4
GuitarFearow | 5:59 PM on 12.28.2007 9 comments

Does anyone have any recommendations as to what NOT homebrew I should get? I've been waiting on this purchase for quite a while and I want to make my experience a good one.

So I bought this game for $5...

Now, I had heard about Darwinia a while ago, but recently picked it up along with other games because...it was $5. How good is this game, other than it's price?

[NVGR] While wandering the streets...

I was walking around lower Manhattan when I spotted a poster that I just had to share:

Now don't bother to comment on his principles and support of Bible teaching and whatnot. Merely enjoy his cut off phrase:

Good Guys Smoke Cigars

How true.

My experience with a broken DS, pt. 2
GuitarFearow | 8:23 AM on 12.28.2007 6 comments

edit: WARNING BLURRY PIC AHEAD

Okay, so the reason that my DS initially broke was because of incessant dropping (darn you, hard protective outer shell in addition to my clumsiness!), but I'd accidentally done the same to my SP a while ago many times, but nothing happened to it. Although I could blame it all on my dropping the system, I'd like to blame this as well:

I played Jump Superstars so darn much, I pretty much broke the top screen with the sheer awesomeness of this game. Of course, it has been old hat since Jump Ultimate Stars came, but this game was the only one I could acquire easily (Best Buy was selling them for a while, remember?).

Many late nights of playing this and Custom Robo are what caused my DS to implode, and sent me spiraling into darkness...that is, until I "discovered" PC gaming again. Now, I play both my new DS and mah PC gaemz.

I'll put up a pic of the rest of my "collection" later. Peace.

 about me

Well, I guess I can tell you about myself.

#1 - I am currently a student, so much drinking for me (j/k). I like to play games(duh)
and watch T.V. (who doesn't?), but I am not a slovenly potato. I also read (???)
and play chess (hmm, okay that's believable).

#2 - The systems that I have are:
PlayStation Portable (bricked FTW)
Nintendo DS Phat (top screen not working)
Nintendo DS Lite (shiny new!)
Game Boy Advance SP (there's a pattern here)
Game Boy (hey what?)
Super Nintendo (finally, some consoles!)
...and that's it. (WTF?)
Yeah, I don't have much new anything in terms of consoles. Very sad, but I do get
around playing other people's consoles. Not recently, though.

My friend, on the other hand, has the ones mentioned above, as well as Nintendo, GBC, Genesis,
GameCube, PS1 and 2, XB360, Wii, and a Game Gear. I've lost hope in capitalism at
this point, so I don't care as long as I can play Super Mario Galaxy.

#3 - I enjoy lurking and reading funny posts, and a lot of the comments on this site are
very WIN, so I visit every day.

That's all for now.
