Sorry, I didn't make that clear. What I mean is I still listen to the Hotspot and enjoy listening to them just talk. When it comes to their reviews, eh.
1. don't know what they're talking about.
2. Are as biased as fanboy/girls and anti system bashers.
3. They generally whine about something not being online if it's good enough to be online.
I mean we know each site has their decent reviewers, but they're overshadowed by the ones who just don't know what they're talking about.
Listen to the podcast. It all gets cleared up, and it makes sense.
I don't dispute for an instant that the feelings are genuine, but there may be more.
Again, that is them reading what they are being told to say so they can keep their jobs. More PR and damage control work. the PR people gave them a script containing what people want to hear, and they read it, so they could keep their jobs. Go out for a drink with one of them, just you and one of the other writers, no pressure, no pen and paper or tape recorder, and let them REALLY tell you what the hell is going on. You'll see it's really quite different.
money runs the corporate world. corruption and greed outweigh and overpower morals and ethics.
I also completely agree with Arctic.
The statement the site issued is PR bullshit. The editors and people that are close friends with Jeff talking about the whole situation is not.
Give it a rest, its not your life, and companys legally cannot disclose why employees get fired most of the time.
Geez, shut up.
