I too remember Kid Chameleon- vaguely, because it's been YEARS since I last played it, but I do remember it. I can't recall if I actually LIKED playing it, but I do know that the idea of having so many different powers was just the coolest thing ever back then. I'm still a huge fan of games that let my character have a wide variety of powers, and I wonder if Kid Chameleon isn't partially to blame for it.
Thing is, I don't know if there was anything that unique about the game, save the save kids who end up in a videogame premise. If that was to be resurrected nowadays, Kid Chameleon would either be saving kids stuck in MMOs, or kids hooked on their iPhone apps. Then again... you COULD probably make a game out of that too...

haha well when i was growing up, i was the first person i knew to even PLAY the game. I always got all the games and my friends would just play at my house. i was the "hey that kid has every damn video game system" kid growing up. SO my friends and i had a blast with kid chameleon and hundreds of other games. i also used to rent 1-2 games a week as a kid growing up too so I played way more games than i owned as a kid. i've since made up for it by owning over 2300 games. lol but ye I played the shit out of kid chameleon growing up and played it for a while again when the classics collection had it.
