What I miss in an RPG...

Hello Fellow D'toiders...

You know, for some time I have been replaying old RPG's like Secret of Mana, Legend of Gaia, Secret of Evermore, and Legend of Zelda (ALTTP) through emulators on my PC. I miss these very heart pulling saga's. (maybe not the richest stories but definitely does make me reflect my past)

I play these Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy games but they are nothing like the previous titles I mentioned. Now if I want to play a game where I change Armor and Swords to reflect in-game characters I have to play Fable, Oblivion, and Fallout 3.

Don't get me wrong I love these new games but I want a turn style based game like Final Fantasy with an armor changing feel of weapons like Oblivion.

Sadly I can't find it... And I die a little inside as I change clothes for my Lost Odyssey douche as he still has his silver armor on even though it's 40 (real time) hours later. WAHHHH :(

I don't want to play my DS to play Chrono Trigger if I can play for free on my laptop, and I don't want to play a hand held, eye squinting system, (though I have them all) when I have a 50 inch Plasma TV. I know they can make a game like Lost Odyssey with armor changes but they don't... Why? And for god sakes, don't tell me that this game can do it but you have to wait till your level 15 or 20 or if you pick up this item it turns my silver vest red. Blah Blah Blah.

No my friends, I want to lop off a few guys heads, take there stuff, sell it for money, and by what "I" want to wear. So in the words of John Mccain, when someone asks you, "who asked this question?" you can turn around and point at me (GooN) and say "THAT ONE!"

PS. I don't system discriminate because I have all 3... so ANY game will be welcome with open arms.   read
