OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Fuck yea, I love Trigun! This made my day :)
I don't know whether to be happy or cry in fear.
I expect it to be exceedingly awkward, just like the Bebop movie where you know the characters end up dead in the end.
Also that link doesn't seem to work rite.
wtf i fail
ok its fixed
this is fucking rad
Moon Phase Diary just reported that there will be a new Trigun animated film currently in production. This news was released to the world in the 14th volume of Trigun Maximum. This will be an original story developed by the mangaka Yasuhiro Nightow and directed by Nishimura Satoshi who helped with the Trigun anime and directed Hajime no Ippo, also the studio behind this bad boy is Madhouse.
Now here is the kicker, the tagline of this film is: “Vash vs. Wolfwood?! The familiar characters erupt on screen in an all-original Trigun story!”; no this isn’t an otaku debate, this is for reals. It looks like Vash has grown tired of Wolfwood doing all that naughty murdering that he is usually seen doing, and it looks like this can’t be stettled with words alone. I have been expecting this fight ever since I first watched Trigun many years ago. Expect to see this film sometime in 2009, that’s if you live in Japan. Us westerners will probably have to wait until 2010; hopefully time machines will be invented by then so that my future self can send me a review copy. This is for your sake people!

No. No no. No no no.
Trigun, as an animated series, ran its course. It's a phenomenal series, beginning to end, and has something to appeal to just about every type of anime fan. But this is just milking the franchise. I don't want more Trigun because the story I have is excellent just the way it is.
MORE LOVE AND PEACE IN 09!
Do want!
TRI-what? but Okay cool
It better have me in there killing both them.
This should be incredible! Trigun is an excellent anime, and an even better manga.
I hate trigun.
Yes! YES. If those goes poorly I will eat a horse's head.
If this goes, I mean. No more blog commenting before I've showered...
I really want this to happen, but where the hell does this fit into the timeline?!
I actually agree with Conrad. LEAVE VASH ALONE! HE'S A HUMA....wait a minute, no he's not...
interesting.
THIS IS COPYPASTA FILE A COPYRIGHT CLAIM
...I'm stoked for the movie
Wow that might be the first cool anime thing in years??
no professor pew, no...
sweet. more things to watch to waste my life away.
But Wolfwood is dead....Please don't butcher my memories of that show.
