How do I choose which new games to buy? Part 2

Well if you read my last blog you are probably aware that this is the second part of the 4 game titles I mentioned. And in this one I thought since it was September 1st and since the Black Ops Multiplayer in depth stuff will be shown why not tell what we know about Black Ops and what I hope will be in there.

When the first multiplayer trailer was released we saw some pretty new kill streaks such as the RC car, a camera that you can set down in the map like the sentry gun. So we can pretty much tell with the killstreaks they got in the trailer that the customizable killstreaks will be in Black Ops. Which I think is great but they have to limit stuff with search and destroy and they should do the barebones pro playlist again because that was a great way to play without air support.

The campaign is something I am really looking forward too. When I play the campaign of games I always look at how solid the story of the game is, and how the gameplay is compared to multiplayer and Treyarch does a great job with that! So I am really looking forward to seeing how this compares to World at War.

Now one thing we know for sure about this compared to World at War is that they didn't start multiplayer later into the developing process. It's been told that for Black Ops they started working on a great multiplayer experience from day 1! Which is awesome because 99% of people who play CoD play it for the multiplayer stuff. So we should be looking into a great multiplayer experience. I just hope they release a beta for the game because doing that will show the kinks they need to work out quickly. If MW2 did that the game would have been that much better. So hopefully Treyarch will learn from Infinty Wards mistake.

Well the multiplayer stuff will be shown tonight and will show all kinds of weapons, playlists, and killstreaks and who knows what else. So this game is a DEFINITE buy for gamers!

Ok, So honestly I have really bad feeling for Black Ops, I just have this sinking feeling that its going to be a reskinned MW2, thats not to say that MW2 is bad, oh no! definatly not, in its genre it's amazing. However that said, Activision is not going to try and reinvent the wheel. There will be some fixing of course, but I wouldnt expect any major changes in the next instalment of the Call of Duty series.

For the best multiplayer experience online this year...my money is on MoH with a company like Dice behind the multiplayer its bound to be brilliant and unique. Keeping that in mind I think the single player/co-op campaign, will be stronger in MoH also.

Truth be told though of my pick, I'll be skipping both and playing Reach, I love the Halo story line more than most in games, I dont care if many people think its bland I have deep seated love for armoured suits and aliens with crab mouths. In addition to that Fable 3 will be lording my time in October and Mass Effect 2 will no doubt remain my GOTY pick.
