*update* i miss oink :( i guess the RIAA does not however...

So i just signed up to What.cd last week, still reeling from the loss of oink :( and then i promptly get this today:

Dear registered user of the site What.cd,

We have recently been investigating the activities of the users of the
site http://www.what.cd/ and we have found that this site exists for
the
sole purpose of music piracy.

Pirating music is a criminal offence and we believe it should be
obvious
to you that the results outweigh the benefits - hard working artists
won't be rewarded for their work and will stop producing music,
ultimately leading to a severely reduced selection of music both in the

shops and for download.

The RIAA had hoped that the disabling by the police of the large
illegal
music site, Oink.cd, would stop a lot of people from engaging in
piracy,
as they don't want to be seen as criminals. However, this appears to
not be the case, as two large new sites have sprung up in its place.

This email is the final warning to all of you who were members of
Oink.cd and are current members of What.cd. If we find you to be
committing any more criminal acts of piracy then we will have to press
charges against you, as representatives of the major record companies
of
America.

Yours Faithfully,

The RIAA

while i don't think anything will come of this (i haven't actually used the account yet) i'm surprised they got my email so quickly, did anyone else get this message? Any waffles people get this?

**Update**
apparently it was leftover from a sql attack
according to zeropaid so if anyone has a what.cd account change all of your passwords

Let the halo3/Bungie Viral Marketing Begin!!
Gh05T R1d3R | 10:21 AM on 06.12.2007 0 comments

The new wave of bungie viral marketing has begun!
a new addition to the forums by the name of AdjutantReflex has shown up on the official bungie forums here. It seems as if it's going to be very much like the "I love bees" marketing for Halo 2. In addition it's being speculated that 7499.com and it's related sites are a related ARG (alternate Reality Game) and seem to be adding up to some unknown prize... or something. While several people already claim to have completed the game no proof has been shown as of yet. The cryptic clues at the top of each page seem to might relate to a choice of three different 4 digit websites below or not at all being as; reloading or removing the session extension of the address can remove the sites presented and "clue" (I also noticed that the session id going on is tracking progress and i believe stopping back-tracking) Note: The site has not been proven related to halo as of yet so be careful if it asks for email or social security numbers!!

What does everyone else think? Any ideas?
