Arrrrrrrrghaaa, I love this theory lol. I kinda hope it's true as that is an awesome look for Sunny, plus it kind of makes sense in that its set after MGS4.
But what does Lightning Bolt Action have to do with it? Hmmm.

"Lightning Bold Action" the codename is "Raiden" which is the "Thunder God". Also, she's a ninja like him so it's probably a lot of quick hack/slash action-ish things, maybe.
:) Jam, I know, I meant as in if it WAS a Sunny based game, Lightning Bolt Action wouldn't fit in at all really.
I know his name means Thunder/Lightning God :P
I'm just gonna say one thing: If we can guess it like this, it must be wrong.
That being said...I wouldn't mind playing as an older cybernetically enhanced Sunny. Maybe on some search for Raiden after he disappeared for some unknown amount of time for some unknown reason.
Or maybe Raiden just got an upgrade that includes new eyes(since the visor isn't present in the pic).

It's already pretty much confirmed that things aren't what they seem. Hell, in the Famitsu interview Kojima said that the guy that looks like Big Boss ISN'T Big Boss. So that could very easily mean that this "Raiden" isn't Jack.
Oh, yeah, for the record, Cyborg Raiden has long "nails" too.

A young Roy Campbell? I really doubt that. He has an eye. And he looks OLDER as Big Boss. No, I'd rather go with the Otacon theory:

Well...If the Metal Gear Online characters are anything to go by(and yes, I know, they really aren't), some people wear Eye Patches just for style. Maybe Roy is trying to emulate his hero and savior for San Whateverthehell and is wearing an eyepatch over a good eye.
Seriously though, Roy is the only character that, to me, seems hippy enough in the MGS series to let his facial hair become that scruffy at that age.
That Lebouf theory seems mighty convincing though. Some solid evidence there, lol.

I heard a theory that "Raiden" is Frank Jaeger or "Gray Fox" from MGS1. I like that idea...
I was fond of the Gray Fox theory, I guess the trailer killed that quick smart.

You've got some pretty valid theories there, but I reckon it will still be Raiden as the main protagonist. There could be a reason for the change in eye colour.

Regarding Otacon as the Naked Snake-looking eye-patch guy, I've got to call bullshit. Otacon just does not have an once of rugged badass within him. He curls up and cries like a baby in every single game. He can't keep his whiny little emotions under control, there's no way he could pull off being another Snake.
Seriously, he ruined the ending of MGS4 for me. When he started bawling like a little bitch and just wouldn't stop while there was business to do, he pulled me out of the story completely. I just didn't care anymore. I tried, but I couldn't do it. The rest of the game felt empty to me. Jackass.
I'm betting it's that Pliskin guy from MGS2 (I'm kidding).

This would be that greatest thing ever if you're right about this being Sunny. Fucking A, would that ever be awesome! If you think about her awkwardness in the first game, I could see her easily turning into a cold, badass assassin. I'd love that.

EXACTLY. Aside from maybe having a God complex/Power Tripp about the slick stuff she pulled off in MGS4 (though as a kid, she's too humble to boast), coupled with getting the real dirt on what happened to her mother, Sunny is going to flip the geek out and start cuttin' fools.

These are all really good theories. What did me in was the shopped female face of the cyborg ninja. That shit is convincing. I kinda hope it's true too. . .
You forgot one thing: hair. Sunny's and "Raiden"'s hair is parted in the exact same way, and the exact same place. And it's pretty much the same colour, too.
I'm convinced that this theory is correct.
