Since i have been playing GTAIV my 360 has done nothing but Molest, Pillage and Rape my
game disc. Knowing full well that this isn't a new problem and plenty of people have had the
same issue with different games.
Now, my game has slowly been rendering worse and worse. To the point now that i am
seeing the blocky squares around certain trees and lamp posts. Therefore the console that i
bought for 300£ (back in the day) is ruining my possessions. Im sure there must be some
kind of law against damaging of products regardless if it is a games console. I never bought
a 360 in the knowledge that games that i have spent 40£ on would be destroyed almost to
the point of breaking.
Heres a fact that you may want to know:
I HAVEN'T MOVED MY CONSOLE WHILE ITS BEEN PLAYING A GAME! EVER!!
Assuming the worst, that eventually my game will be unplayable i am wondering what
routes i can take when this happens. I very much doubt the store i got the game from
would exchange the game for me for a new one and i don't know if Microsoft will hold there
hands up and say that they are to blame and replace the game. I am not willing to try
some cleaning equipment to fix it as the grooves its burning into my disc looks far to deep
to be cleaned off.
My finally resort will be to sue Microsoft for Criminal Damage and thats a extreme that i
would undertake but i am sure there is a more civil way to sort this situation.
Sometimes i do wish i had a PS3 but with the 360's pad and user interface... indeed a time for some heavy sighing
*SIGH!!*
As for your 360 disk scratching you're a bit buggered. The 360 has quite a few problems other than the RRoD which unfortunately get overlooked and this is one of them. If you have the receipt for your 360 and bought within the last year you can take it back and get it exchanged again saying it's faulty. The problem here is that it's pain in the arse to get your live arcade games licensed to your new 360. If you can't do that then xbox customer support will have to do...
also
brb.
If you are getting perfectly circular scratches on the discs then microsoft with claim you moved the system while it was on, weather you did or not.
If the scratches are bad enough to mess up your games, send the console in for repair, or suffer the consequences of it not only eventually breaking down, but also destroying your games in the process.
Its Microsofts problem and as usual there spastic console is dribbling down its retarded face.
Well if it doesn't affect you then it must be a lie..
If you had a brain to speak of then maybe you would ask yourself "Why would someone spend the time making a Blog about something he has caused himself". Surely that would defeat the point as any solution i would get would be wasted on me.
If the problem is only occuring with one game, then I hate to say it but it probably isnt microsofts problem. If the destruction was universal with every disc you have then the problem is the console, if it only happens to GTA then maybe you got a bad disc or something.
