Out of the blue it seems,
Savage 2 has been released via download at $29.99 which judging by what I played of the first games is not a bad price at all.
Savage is a mix of a first-person shooter, real-time strategy, and role-playing game, which can provide a very fun mix of gameplay, with people able to play as troops on the ground (the fps/rpg mix) or as a commander (the rts side of the game) all supporting each other.
There is also an option for a demo account which gives the player 5 hours of online play, as well as the offline tutorial and unlimited LAN play, not at all bad for a demo client.
I enjoyed what I played of the first savage when it was re-released for free sometime back, and which the unlimited LAN play I intend to see if I can enjoy this one as well, and the full price point is not bad either.
