Eurogamer have a story announcing Rock bands EU release date, and it seems it 360 only for the time being, with the other console versions appearing later in the year and the date is 23rd May (looks like my guess was right) and it's said that "We will get the full compliment of existing downloadable tracks on 27th May, too" but this doesn't say if that's for download or if we get them in the box, it also seems that no price has been announced so lets wait and see how badly we get ripped off.

I think we only get the 9 Euro exclusive tracks in the box (muse, oasis, blur etc) and all the DLC will be available from the marketplace from the get go at 160 points each well so says kotaku at least
Dammit I can't wait for the PS3 version!!

I mean for that price you could buy a wii or a 360 arcade which is just fucking stupid! I hope no one buys Rockband now. There's no way a casual gamer will pay that much for it and I hope hardcore gamers will take a stand and tell EA to fuck right off

If that's true then EA are truly being fucking cunts because they are charging us the absolute maximum amount because they know we can't get it any cheaper. That being said the game costs £50, and the bundle breaks down to about £60 for drums, £50 for guitar and £20 for the mic (approximately) which considering current pricing makes sense.....doesn't make it right though....twats.
It's probably more risky but it looks like ebay is the way to go... I know a few people who imported the PS3 version who got a pretty good deal at the time. It's just that the good deals pop up very sporadically so it's just pure luck if you find one. Ultimately it's the shipping that jacks up the price which is a pain in the arse.
