Good story...Had a customer come in, he and his PC smelled like crap, literally. They both smelled like they have been sleeping in a barn for a month. He had some lame ass story about how it was stolen and sat in a police station for months. On the inside I was like "Oh really?" He wanted help, simple diagnostic, I was closest to the window that day so I initially helped him. Now there is a rule where if a PC comes in that could be considered a hazard, like this one, we can refuse to take it. I didn't want anything to do with it, I asked my supervisor, he took it in but the rest of us swore it off, it was his problem now. He put it in a garbadge bag with 2 glade air freshners for like a week. Took it out, still smelled like shit, did the diagnostic, no OS, just a simple restore, everything else was ok. Dude came back to pick it up and you guessed it he still smelled like shit.
Now I have no problem with farmers and people who have dirty jobs where they go home smelling like crap, but don't feckin lie to me about what you do. Or even better, when you go out in public don't smell like you just crawled out of the toliet.
