So there I am signing up for the Battlefield: Bad Company newsletter to unlock some crappy gun, and what do I find?
You heard it here first folks. Asia and the EU are countries, and Canadians and Australians can pretty much take a hike, eh?
Despite
FORGETTING MY COUNTRY, the BF:BC demo is actually surprisingly fun. It's like an unpolished version of CoD4 with tanks, boats, helicopters, hummers, etc. Every building can be more or less completely demolished, and the scoring system of their "Gold Rush" mode is actually quite well balanced. It's worth checking out if you're an FPS fan.
You think being a Canadian stinks, then you realize its idiots who forget about you.
I'm actually pro splitting of the USA. Canada gets the North states, and the South becomes "Jesusistan" or "New Jerusalem" while the North with Canada becomes the "Land of Freedom and Education".
Sounds awesome. I'd love to eat some pancakes with your awesome syrup with you canucks.
ANYWAYS! Yea, BF:BC is really fun. I pre-ordered the Gold Edition the other day. I played the demo for about 9 hour and my kill ratio is above my death ratio, plus I was getting good at it, so I figured I had to buy it.
After playing this, COD4 seems like a bad buy. It's not the OCD4 is bad - it isn't - but after you play this, you'd really miss the destructible environments, the vehicles, etc. I need variety in my games...I don't want to JUST headshot people all day with a sniper rifle.
Speaking of that; holy shit, have you tried hiding in bushes with a sniper or any other class for that matter? It's soooo funny. I had 5 guys walk right past me when I was hiding in a bush and they didn't even see me. Not havbing your name/a bright dot over your head is FTW.
