Perpetual college senior. Lovin' the 24 hour newscycle, the artsy-fartsy in life, and dandy fellows.

Itching to be a boring dad someday, just wish they'd make some kinda fuggin' ointment for it till then.

<Note: This is so short that it's more a glorified comment than a blog. It's not even that good, frankly.>

Final Fantasy XIII can go die in a fire, but then it would probably wax poetic about how the fire is somehow a metaphor for standing on your own two feet. Without a sense of self-awareness or irony. For 50 hours.

Because the main character's parents died (how?) she took on the nickname "Lightning" to be stronger. Where. Is. The. Logic. A nickname? She wasn't exactly becoming a masked hero (which would have been truly novel if their parents' death were at the hands of some Batman-esque catalyst), but essentially a fluorescent-lit police officer. With gravity-manipulating fingersnaps full of sass. This is apparently the standard equipment of law-enforcement in this technicolor headache of a game world.

What person would adopt an alias if they were not on the run to begin with, but also keeping established contract with family and work as well? I don't go to work and hear that Howard from Sales is now to be called "Stone" because his cat went missing.
