No one would have a problem if you were an active part of our community. We have several community members who work for other sites (see Wardrox, Gynecologist Cobra, and Coonskin05), and they will occasionally link to something on their site. However, they are also contributing to the Destructoid community on a daily basis, not just using the c-blogs for advertising.

I've been here for 48 hours man. I'm working on getting familiar with the entire community. Chill. The avatar is coming, I'm posting and getting it to it, but it takes time. Play the hate all you want, but you're not very warm to new people.

To be fair gamezombie, I work for 3 other sites and the only thing I've ever posted that linked to one of them was a caption contest two days ago so people here could also have a chance to win a free game off me. It's pretty dirty to advertise while contributing nothing and people won't like it.
Well, I've been on D-toid awhile now, and most of the people who left hate comments here...I've never even seen them.
I thought it was a good video, so nice job.

The problem people have with you (and every other "member" like you) is that, basically what you're doing is equivalent to walking in to a restaurant and selling your homemade tacos. I love tacos and everything, but don't leech off of others' place of business (Niero's). You've set up your own shop, sell from there.
