So this is my not so impressive setup. I'll keep this short and simple.
I spend way to much time in front of this TV. I managed to pick up a Dreamcast a few months ago on the cheap! I'm slowly building my collection for that and the N64. I got the original Xbox out of a dumpster a few years back. Works like a charm.
Part one of the DVD collection, with a few random figures.
Part two of the DVD collection, with the sole rockband drums (an old roommate still has the guitar) and the few CDs that I have left.
A few more action figures and some game related things. The Vaultboy bobble head use to rest on the dashboard of my car but the base he stands on melted.
My 360 and original xbox collection. Slowly adding to the stockpile.
Ahhhh, my zelda collection. You'll notice the lack of Windwaker and a few other games, because I'm poor.
And this is the last bit of the games I own. A good friend gave me all the GBA games once he picked up a DSi (works out for me!) oh and Chrono Trigger! Mucho thanks to Tdiddy for sending it via snail mail.
The BIGGEST disappointment in all of my gaming history rests not with an unbeatable boss but with my childhood need to sell every system and game I owned to upgrade to the next. SNES > Genesis > N64 > PS2 > Xbox > 360. Apparently when I was younger I had no concept of video game collecting. Sure I collected other things (like rocks) but it never occurred to me keep the games and systems.
You may also see the noticeable flash in some of these pictures, which is another reason I wanted to hold off on doing this post: but I've come to the realization that I'm not getting a new camera any time soon.
Thats my setup! Not nearly as impressive as some of the others I've seen. I think it works for my bachelor lifestyle. :)
Pretty cool. I had the same problem as you, but not with consoles (though I sold my Saturn for a PS1)...I had a nasty habit of selling/trading games to purchase others. Some games weren't missed...others were, like Suikoden. I've managed to reclaim many of the ones I've sold (most of the time for less than I sold them for), but there are still games I'm having great difficulty finding.
I've never really understood the thought process behind selling systems. Still, it seems like you're doing alright for a guy who's sold most of his collection over the years. :)

*see the nirvana pic* O.O ... <3
Hi fiev for the Nirvana picture.
Nice setup by the way, better than mine.
I have those two Gameboys, by the way. The red pocket and the good ol' brick.
