It's a fairly recent change the put in place, they don't want any profanity on the front page of the Cblogs or the Main Front page. Trying to keep the site professional or something, not sure.
My random quote of the day was strange too.. It mentions a url, which by some very odd reason going to it (www.briancrecente.com) takes you to joystiq.com also.. Very odd/off if you ask me.
