Well, least the idiot is gone and someone who can speak a full line without screwing up or getting a shoe thrown at his head is gonna be running us now....

I do plan on watching the inauguration tomorrow, it'll be the first one I'm actually gonna care about watching.. despite the fact that tomorrow is a day that's probably gonna be in the history books for the rest of our lives as the first Black President takes office.

He is also going to be the first President to have his inauguration be declared a "State of Emergency." as well as the first President to probably have more than 10 assassination attempts on his life in the first year of being in office.. last I checked, he hasnt even taken office yet and he's had... 4-6 attempts/threats openly caught and prosecuted.... and he's just the presidential-elect.

Sheez.

I guess I need to watch CNN/Fox News online a bit more...

Oh well, here's to the next 4 years.

He's also the first president to spend over a $100 million dollars (which we are responsible for a hefty portion of) for an inauguration. And the bitched when Bush threw a $45million one. Now, get me some comparison picks between obama and a chimp....but wait, that would be racist then, right?

@Usedtabe - Actually, Bush spent the money on the inauguration, HE'S the one who called a "State of Emergency" on the whole thing since.. well, on average 20,000 people show up to watch a president get sworn in.

They are expecting 2 million, 2 freakin' million people to be at this thing.
