It has been confirmed in full that Flagship Studio's has been shutdown and all IPs have been removed or handed off. *Sigh*

G'Damnit! - I had just gotten back into the game.. happy everything is running smoother, I even decided to toss in my $9.95 for a sub and get some extra content going. I'v been playing it nonstop because of the Diablo 3 announcement, and was getting reved up for the the 2.0 patch with the Blademaster updates... and now this happens.

Current Subscribers cannot remove their accounts at the moment during the transition to the Koreans.

Now.. how about this.. what about the FOUNDER SUBSCRIBERS. They paid over $100 dollars to never pay again, get unlimited content. And now... this happens. I guess we'll just have to see who snags up this wonderful IP. Honestly the game had a lot of good going for it, it's just bad luck for the company because they ended up in the hole instead of running with it.

I'll play it anyways, I wanna try and beat it before/if it goes under...

From what's being said Hanbitsoft owned Mythos as collateral, and so it looks like they're the ones who will be in control. Which blows considering with the new crafting and overworld stuff Mythos was looking pretty fricking sweet.

Wow, this kinda breaks my heart. Like you, I just got back into Hellgate because of the D3 announcement. I really had high hopes for HG:L, but the release was just one big lump of disappointment. Its ok to reuse models and surroundings, but damn at times it feeling like you are fighting the same monsters in the same place with increasing difficulty. The multiplayer felt unnecessary.

Hellgate was buggy as hell, but I liked it. And they were striving for a Diablo-type game, so to see them finally fall ... those poor developers.
