Something about this game just seems...generic. However, if some one gave it to me as a gift, I'm sure I'd end up playing it for at least a few hours.
As for the trailer itself, I'm totally feeling this MST3K trend happening in game advertising right now. First that House of the Dead: Overkill trailer, and now Monster Lab. Good Stuff.
