I made this video for Nintendo and I was inspired by both my love of Super Mario World and super goofy 90's gaming commercials.

I made a short about Grand Theft Auto V that's inspired by Nicolas Winding Refn's Pusher trilogy.

Nintendo sent me and a few other YouTube people early copies of the game to make videos for. I don't know how many people were included, but they should all be released online today. I was super excited to get a copy of the game, and now I'm happy to share my little video.

After the success of The Blair Wii U Project, Nintendo invited me to make a new commercial for them. We had to make this in 48 hours and incorporate a specific game feature from Super Mario Bros U. Made with a team of other winners Ethan Newberry, Zack Finfrock, and Josh Jepson, I wrote, acted, and co-edited it. This screened last Thursday night at Nintendo’s Sundance party, which they flew me out for.

There’s also a behind-the-scenes feature about the 48 hour film challenge, as well as the two other videos, all on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel.
