Actually, for me personally, the PSN downtime has been really good for me. I love, adore, am addicted to online gaming. I'd say about 90% of my gaming time is spent with an online game... so now I'm being forced to play some offline games and honestly, it's not all bad. I probably wouldn't have picked up Portal right away - but it's a GREAT game. I would never have gone back and tried to finish Borderlands, but it's a lot of fun playing it solo.

It's actually nice to be able to hit a "pause" button and get up and get a drink, or take a break - with online gaming I have to take a fast break in between rounds. It just feels so...leisurely.

It's nice to get back into the offline gaming thing for awhile! I do miss the online gaming, but not as much as I thought I would.

Ironically I really never play my Xbox. I usually just put my Gamertag/Game Saves on a USB drive and play at other peoples places. And even then it's not often.

I've finally got around to playing Bad Company 2's campaign. So far, "meh". Actually even if PSN was up I'd still be watching playoff hockey instead :D
