Before people get all fanboyish (or after even), I enjoyed this game. It truly made you feel like the sort of badass that anyone that gained superpowers after being normal for a while would feel. These are some random encounters/bugs/wtf's that I saw or experienced while playing the game, and I thought I should share.
*A person, grieving over all that they've lost, suddenly springs up out of no where, snaps a picture of me, and immediately falls back down to their knees and continues grieving.
*Somehow, a shock from a human defibrillator would heal a/multiple bullet wound(s).
*Attempting to Thunder Drop from roughly a 6-story building onto a group of enemies, but suddenly hitting the ground with no shockwave or thunder effect happening.
*The inability to walk up some El Train stairs where you suddenly walk toward one of the railings and begin to hang off of it.
*A city cop suddenly going on a rampage and began to shoot normal civilians after battling enemies. Clearly the job had gotten to him.
*NOT BEING ABLE TO CLIMB UP CHAIN LINKED FENCES (See also: Penny Arcade)
Anybody else go through some weird shite on the streets of Empire City?
I hope the city cop thing isnt a glitch. Because that one actually makes sense. I also cant help but laugh, because the power of lightning apparently fixes everything.
The lighting turns cole into an electromagnet that rips the bullets out of people. He then proceeds to cauterize their wounds with lighting. Also, magic.
But how does a defibrillator shock heal broken bones?
1. I climbed up on the outside of a greenhouse type deal and was immediately found hanging on support beams inside the greenhouse. Magically teleporting through glass and all.
2. Lighting can't break glass on the buildings.
3. I was shimming up the side of a building to get a shard piece. I was walking sideways on a pipe, in front of a glass encased office. When i moved the camera slightly and walked. the camera went right through the wall inside the office space. Instead of panning out. (( I could still see myself on the other side of glass though. ))
4. I was at my first Good/Bad episode at the beginning of the game. Where you destroy the latch to the hooked on structure by parachuted MRIs. (( Feed the Hungry/Horde for Yourself )) It directs you to stay "Good" to not kill/attack any of the citizens. Until they get their food.
Well before the choice is offered, Reapers attack. Well I "Wounded Killed" one of them during the Time Frame and got pitted as the "Bad Karma" choice. For god's sake it was a Reaper not a civilian. & i was going for the "Good" Karma route my first play through... I didn't feel like starting over either.....

Someone should do a comic strip of that incident. O_o
Yeah, when I did a Thunder Drop off a building, I caught the edge of a car on the way down and, rather than destroy the car, I somehow slid down the side of it.
The Thunder Drop thing has happened to me too. There was a tiny piece of metal that Cole landed on that somehow absorbed all his electricity.
I've also fallen through the ground once, which freaked me the hell out since I hadn't saved in a while. Luckily, the game popped Cole out of the sea of gray and back onto the sidewalk after a few seconds.
Yeah, this game has some of the funniest glitches ever. None of them have been annoying so far and they don't happen too often, but when they do they can be hilarious.
I had a cop go berserk once. A different cop (or a reaper?) shot him and then I went over and shackled him to the pavement for his bad behavior! lol.
Also, one time I heroically jumped from a building and landed on the street between two cars to strike a pose but instead I died. The cars were pretty close together so I guess I was squished.
Oh, and I forgot to mention. Does anyone ever notice how sometimes people just fall down for no reason and then you have to lightning-defibrillator them. I'm like jeese, she just tripped, Cole, no need to goo all ER on her.
