I'm just getting it on the 360. It's not exactly the kind of game where people are going to want to play others if they have mods anyway.
Man, I hate it when that happens. I remember on my old computer when I could barely run The Witcher on medium settings. That's the day I knew I had to eventually put the old girl down, and get a better computadora.

I doubt you HAVE to have a 9 series, doesn't mean shit anyways because a 9600 is complete balls compared to an 8800. The 9 in front of it really doesn't mean anything, its all about the last 3 numbers. 600+ is what you want, and I plan on playing borderlands with my 8800GTS on high settings without an issue.
As a computer technology professional I hate it, absolutely hate having to tell people that technology improves at such a fast pace that something you've spent hundreds or thousands of dollar on a year or two ago may not be up to par today. Laptops are always worse for a variety of reasons, but man do I sympathize. I have a bunch of friends who have given up on PC games this generation, since they can just stick with a 360 instead.
I bet your lappy can run it it just fine though, as long as you're willing to make a few sacrifices in different graphic settings.
Would it have been so bad to actually post the requirements?
the only thing i need upgraded is my videocard, which is good considering how it's already failing often.
So what are the system requirements? :(
Protip. Stop trying to play games on a laptop. Also that computer is 2 years old, even if you bought it 6 months ago. Also it's a laptop.
And you're about at the system minimum requirements anyways... but it is a crummy old laptop.
If you can't keep up with the system requirements you'd better get a console. Or sell some organs.
What Wedge said.
There's no point in a "gaming laptop" at all. A PC for half the cost will run twice as fast and last substantially longer.
WAT?
The requirements are Geforce 8 series.
@Cyber
OS: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: 2.4 Ghz or equivalent processor
Memory: 1GB System RAM (2GB recommended with Vista)
Graphics: 256mb video ram or better (GeForce 8 series or higher/Radeon R8xx series)
Hard Drive: 8 GB or more free space
Sound: Windows compatible sound card
O RLY?? it seems Valve just changed the requirements from when i posted this. Maybe i will buy it for PC...
CRISIS AVERTED!
