Well at least it's still happening, all I'd heard about this games before was nintendo of Europe's E3 DS line up, god to know it's still going ahead.
Groovy. I liked the first one, but it was kinda....happy....and colorfull for a war game. And we want your opinions too. This isn't Coffee Talk, where you can get ferclempt and tell us to "talk amongst yourselves".
That being said, this is much better than your first attempt. Keep it up.

Why haven't we heard more about this?
What they need to do is have WiFi compatibility to at least trade maps, and at most for ranked/unranked/friends multiplayer matches.
This is one of my most anticipated games on the DS!

@ blehman:
All of the Advance Wars games and the other games in the Nintendo Wars series were "happy" and "colorful."
Dual Strike was no different.

@VG:
Yeah, I know, I'm just saying that maybe games like that desensitize kids to war more than gritty war games. Jack Thompson to the rescue! /sarcasm
Love the av too

Thanks for the advice and the compliment ^^
Anywho, I don't don't really mind the change, just as long as they don't screw up the game play =X

Advance Wars has always been more about the strategy and less about the grittiness of real war. I really don't think it's desensitizing, as it reminds me of things like green Army Men toys and G.I. Joe.
@ blehman:
Yeah, I see what your saying, that's exactly what we have JT for! /sarcasm
Thanks, I found this av by accident!
@ Firehead/Necros:
Yeah, if they mess with the gameplay too much it could backfire, but I would like to see them experiement more.
Intelligent Systems creates amazing gameplay systems, but it gets a little repetitive after awhile. Dual Strike was much better than Advance Wars 2, God 2 felt like an expansion pack (only one new unit, the Neotank).
If you read the source it seems that our favorite COs have been taken out of the game, or at least the playable version that was at MGC in Paris - are there going to be any returning characters?
