I have been a gamer all of my life. But I've really only begun to take
it somewhat seriously in the past couple years. Final Fantasy X is my
favorite game of all time. I don't care what anyone says, it changed my
life and reinvigorated my interest in gaming.

It was a few months ago that a fellow dtoider raised some questions about more ads seemingly taking over the website and Destructoid becoming possibly more Ca$hwhorey. At the time, I thought it was a simple overreaction to a change in website layout. But look at this:
Really, (possibly formerly) honorable robot, isn't this taking things a bit far??? I mean, you've got a frikkin headband on. No less, for DECA Sports. DECA Sports! And you're saying "sw3et"??? WTF! Things are starting to look a little fast and loose around here, if you know what I mean. I remember the days when the gigantic "DESTRUCTOID" banner ran proudly and loudly all the way across my computer, and I felt like a righteous dtoider. But, alas, things have changed since those days, I suppose. C'est la vie.
