You're charging $600 for the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle? I've been waiting for further information on this bundle and whether or not it would be coming to the US, but now that it is, I can't see spending that much money.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but we're supposed to be getting another MGS4 bundle which includes an 80 gig hard drive, a dual shock 3 controller, and the basic version of MGS4 for $500 right? So for an additional $100, we get half the hard drive space, no backwards compatibility, and a pretty paint job. Am I missing something here? Are they planning on selling the "extremely limited supply" of these bundles to anyone willing to spend the cash only to release the better bundle days later? I'm a fucking sad panda now. Ah well, as long as I can get a PS3 to play MGS4 I'll be happy.
Yea, considering everything included you're paying about $60 extra for the special edition bundle, I just don't understand the pricing with the other bundle coming out so soon after. It looks like they're almost working in a price drop of sorts with the $500 bundle, which is an awesome price for the stuff included, so this pricing with the $40 gig version just seems shady.
Yeah... that sucks. I really wanted this one to avoid having to get the stupid dustmagnet shiny black, but I'm not gonna pay that much for the gimped out version, especially when this sold for $500 in Japan.
Yeah, this is weird...I don’t understand why they’re using a 40 GB PS3 for the Limited Edition bundle. The other MGS 4 bundle is a MUCH better deal: for $500, you’re going to get an 80 GB PS3, MGS 4, AND a DualShock 3 in the box.
You scared me for a bit, I thought you were talking about the 80 GB one I had been planning on getting for so long. I've been expecting paying 500 bucks for so long the extra hundred you were talking about shocked me, but thank God you were talking about the inferior version with the "who cares?" paintjob...

But I'm American, I'm supposed to be special and stuff...with my freedom...and my bud light...damn it.
Well the special edition is around 80 bucks or so. I guess that's the reason why it's expensive?

I really don't understand the appeal in the first place. I was never really into SE systems.
That's the special edition with the gunmetal grey exclusive to the konami website. The 80 gig is still coming.
