Failcast: How many games do you have in your backlog at any given time? I know I'm running upwards of 20+ at the moment. I pick up stuff I know won't be on shelves very long (atlus/NIS stuff for example), but then never find time to battle the backlog.

Also, there's been much bellyaching over developments like New Super Mario Bros. Wii's Super Guide and Bayonetta's one button mode, and how their leading to the end of difficulty in games for the benefit of new players; a topic made particularly poignant by the latter's recent release. Where do you all way in on the topic? It's it really worth getting fussed over, or no different then the easy modes in the past, and thus, unlikely to harm our normal and hard difficulties, and instead likely to help guide new gamers first attempts. Or is it not the actuality of the super guide that matters, rather the mentality of catering to "casuals" that is so worrying, or is it simple, unavoidable human nature; the desire to preserve the sanctity and honor of a certain task (beating a game) as letting others reach it makes it less special.

And on an easier note, whose each of your choice survivor for Left 4 Dead 2, and can we play some time?

If you could go back in time and prevent a single video game from being made, what would it be, and what ramifications on the gaming industry do you think would occur without that game happening? For example, if you prevented Halo from being made, would FPS even exist at all?

Have you guys ever watched an anime that was incredibly good but had a massive fail of an ending that either ruined or nearly ruined the entire show?

I loved the anime Great Teacher Onizuka but the last two episodes not only killed the series for me but killed my interest in anime.
