Borderlands is pretty awesome, from those of you who played it. What characters you using and what skill set?

So far, what games do you think have best utilized the unique aspects of the medium to tell their story? I.e. games like Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid 2, Earthbound (this article really illustrates how the later does so, and I highly recommend you read it when you get a chance :3) that use player's expectations of a game, and the very nature of interactivity to convey narrative or even just specific moments, in a awesome way that can only happen in games. Their not as common as you (and I) might think, but I don't think that's unusual. Most movies, tv shows and books could really work as any of the three, and while the plot might be better served by one specific medium, it is by no means bound to it. Which isn't a bad thing at all, it just makes those rare ones that do work in that manner so special, doubly so in games, which are such a unique medium already. I digress though, any of you guys have thoughts on the matter?
